Looks like this week's issue is landing smack in between Xmas and the New Year, so I thought I'd share a few choice events going on around Music City the night of the 31st that stand out to me as things you might not want to miss.
Of course, as you might imagine, there is way more going on than I could possibly fit into this column, so if you don't see anything here that melts your bourbon butter, check out my friends over at Do615 for a more complete list.
CRAWL TIL THE BALL FALLS
Want to ring in the New Year maximally sauced? Courtesy of the Barcrawlerz (their Z; not mine), Crawl Til The Ball Falls is being touted as the biggest bar crawl of the holiday and, naturally taking place downtown, the hosting group claims it shall feature the absolute top of the line best drink specials at the most acclaimed bars in the city. To join in on the fun, hurry over to EventBrite.com and search for "Crawl Til The Ball Falls" tp purchase your ticket(s) and pre-order your wristband ($27/pp, or $78/group of 4). Come NYE, you'll check in at Nashville Live! (128 2nd Ave N) to pick up your wristband and bar map, the latter of which outlines each bar's drink specials, so you can customize your own personal intoxication daisy chain for the evening. Best part? Your wristband gets you into every participating bar free of any cover charge. The festivities kick off at 6p, so don't be late! Email info@barcrawlerz.com or call the Barcrawlerz team at (310) 273-8772 (ext. 3) with any questions.
NEW YEAR'S EVE AT 888
Looking for a more sophisticated celebration? Whether you want a snazzy dining experience for dinner (5p-8p), a late night celebration running well into the wee hours (9p-2a), or both, Nashville's 888 has you covered. Their NYE dinner service ($175/pp) includes a 5-course prix fixe menu with champagne upon arrival, valet parking, and taxes and gratuity included. Come 9 o'clock, the ramp-up to the "L888 Night" blowout begins, offering two options: 1) simple bar access ($75/pp), including valet, tax and gratuity, appetizers, and a champagne toast at midnight, or 2) open bar access ($175/pp), including everything from the first option, plus all you can drink at no additional charge. Lightweights need not apply. Head on over to SevenRooms.com (https://sevn.ly/xSx0E612) to book your spot.
L27 NYE COUNTDOWN
Finally, if you're looking to bring some rock & roll into the night, the L27 rooftop lounge offers sweeping views of downtown along with a special performance by the band Naughty Input to toast 2025. General admission tickets ($85/pp) get you standing-room-only access to the party starting at 9p, and reserved seating options run from outside tables and couches ($400/table or couch), each of which seats 4 people, to exclusive cabanas ($800/cabana) with seating up to 8 guests. A midnight toast and "sweet treat" await all attendees, with food and drink being available for purchase throughout the evening. And for those wanting to get started earlier, L27 is also offering a three-course dinner option (bottle of sparkling wine included) starting at 7p, with party access come 9 o'clock. All dinner tickets include party entry and your reserved table for the duration of the night, with the two reserved table options being a table of 2, or a table of 4 (each costing a $50 confirmation fee + $250/pp). Dinner tables are indoors, and the cabanas, outside tables, and couches do not include dinner. Pull up L27Nashville.com to purchase tickets.
Wherever you find yourself come party time, I wish you the most joyous New Year's celebration! And if you're imbibing, as most of us likely will be, please do so responsibly! Cheers!
