Hair Extensions Part 2

Tape Extensions (Tape Extension): These are the easiest to apply. They have a medical grade adhesive that only comes off with a special remover, and there is a charge to remove them. The installation process is very quick and it is available in straight and curly textures and lengths up to 24 inches. They are completely reusable; just more tape sticks.

I-Tip Hair Extensions (I-TIP PRO): I-Tip installation is very simple. Each strand of hair is held securely with microbeads that come in 5 different colors. No chemicals, glue or heat are needed for this method. Curly textured hair comes only in dark shades and the length can be up to 22 inches.

  • Application time: 1 to 2 hours.

  • Duration: 3 to 6 months with proper care.

Fusion Extensions: Stylists have been using the Fusion method longer than anyone else. This technique consists of connecting extensions to the hair with keratin bonds. Each extension strand comes pre-stitched, with ready-to-use keratin bonding, which are almost invisible.

  • Application time: 2 to 3 hours.

  • Can be reused up to 3 times (with Rebonds).

  • Duration: 2 to 4 months with proper care.

Clip-in Hair Extensions (CLIP INS): With clip-in extensions, you can get length and volume in minutes. And when you're done, simply release it and remove it. The wefts attach to your hair with small clips that are easily hidden and stay in place until you are ready to remove them. Available in lengths up to 20 inches.

For extensions, you need a special brush and even a special shampoo. Your stylist will teach you how to wash them, how to take care of them when you sleep, and even how to use your purse or seat belt. With all these precautions, you will be able to wear your extensions for a long time.
