About the Band Duo Sudeste formed in 2008 when Nashville-based classical guitarists Robert Thompson and Joey Butler merged their love of Latin music and classical guitar with an extensive knowledge of Latin rhythms to form a guitar duo specializing in composers from South America. They keep an active concert schedule and have been featured on radio shows in Nashville, Tennessee; Dayton, Ohio; St. Louis, Missouri; and even in Brazil.
